Kidney Stones

In some rare and severe cases kidney stones can cause renal failure. A kidney stone is basically a hard object that is made from chemicals wastes dissolved in the urine. When there is too much waste in too little liquid, crystals begin to form. These Crystals attracts other elements and join together to form a solid that will get larger with time if not diagnosed or treated. However, the stone may either stay in the kidney or travel down the urinary tract. Into the ureter. Sometimes, tiny stones move out of the body in the, urine, but the stones that don’t move out may cause a back-up of urine in the kidney, ureter, the bladder, or the urethra. This is what causes the pain and leads to infection in kidney. Such obstructing stones increase the risk of developing chronic kidney disease and kidney failure in extreme cases.
Some studies reveal that people with a history of kidney stones were twice as likely to have serious kidney problems later in life when compared to those who had never suffered from kidney stones.
